Carl goes to Italy - part III - Firenze

We thought we were prepared this time. We left the hotel in Sorrento early. But at the station, they told us the same story as before: "There is a bomb on the station, and you have to take the bus...". Yeah right. Stop this silly game and fix the train instead....

So after a bus ride to Napoli, we took the train to Roma, and then changed to the InterCity train to Firenze.

I hadn't decided if I liked this train. But dad was happy...
Grandmother was knitting on a sweater to me.
Hmmmm. Interesting! I want to help!

Helping with the knitting made me tired, so I took a nap.

I have learned that resting on the train is good. You are also better prepared for the next phase of the adventure.

Firenze was like walking in a huge museum. We all liked it a lot!
Ponte Vecchio. A famous bridge with lots of tourists.
Always read the map first. But better late, than never.
Another beer :-)
I'm still too young for a beer :-( But licking on the glass is fun.
Can I hold it please?
The Duomo! What a building!!!
Pisa is close to Firenze, so we took the train there. Here is the famous tower! It was really funny to watch. Almost unreal...
Playing with Dad is fun!
And yes, the tower was still there!

Outside the station.

Pisa is a really nice city, and there are many more things to do and see there besides the tower. But, we had to go back to Firenze again.

At the market in Firenze! Good mushrooms!

Dad and I was really tired. We both needed a rest :-)
Back on the streets of Firenze again. Full speed ahead!
So many things to see!
But playing is more fun!
When we left Firenze, we had a cappuccino with hearts shaped in milk. I've never seen that before. And Dad said it was really good!
