We were in Diamante for only one day, so on the Sunday we took the
train back to Napoli. But we were heading for Sorrento.
No direct trains. We had to change before Napoli, and take another train,
the Circumvesuviana. And that's another station. What an adventure! |
At the Circumvesuviana station, the train didn't go to Sorrento. They
said it was a bomb on the station in Sorrento, so everyone had to take
the bus.
This was really hard, because there were no information at all, and no
one knew when the buses went, or even if they would come...
But a bus came, and we made it, and were really lucky to end up in Sorrento
that night. It's a scary bus ride. Really high up on the mountains.

The boat back to Sorrento broke, so we had to take another boat. But the
new one was nicer, and we could sit on the deck. |
